We live and work on a peninsula surrounded by forest and sea,
making clothes, textiles, and objects for everyday life, within the reach of our own hands.
Like in the past, when garments were mended and cherished,
we repair what’s worn and send it out again.
It’s the beginning of a quiet, joyful cycle.

Soji Boken – Place by the Sea
海景と木々に囲まれた500坪ほどの庭に、二棟の古い平屋があります。
場に身をおくと、日がな一日 ただぼぉっと過ごすことのできる、人を元に戻してくれるような優しさも、この場所にはあるように感じます。
半島ならではの高低差のある場では、おぉいと声をかけあえる楽しみもあり.. 。
荒地だったこの場所を10年来 整えてきて、なんとか様々にご利用いただけるところまで、整いはじめました。

Set within a garden of about 1,650 square metres, surrounded by sea views and trees, are two old single-storey houses.
There is a gentleness to this place that seems to bring you back to yourself — a place where you can simply sit and do nothing, all day long.
With the natural rise and fall of the peninsula, there is also the simple pleasure of calling out “Hellooo!” to someone across the grounds.
For the past ten years, we have been slowly tending this once-wild piece of land.
At last, it is beginning to feel ready to be shared in many different ways.
A place for learning.
A little escape.
A setting for photography among the sea and greenery.
